Review-Analytics: May 2024 Update

1–2 minutes

May 2024 has been a busy month for us, focusing on two main areas:

1. Simplifying Onboarding for New Users and Review Sources

Our goal is to make adding new review sources as seamless as possible. We want to handle the heavy lifting for you.

As a reminder, in April we launched a read-only demo site, allowing users to explore our system without the need to create an account. You can check it out here: Review Analytics Demo.

In May we have built on this by making it even easier to get started. We can now add your review sources for you, even before you officially sign up. We provide you with a personalized link where you can view your reviews on your dashboard, which you can then claim. This means we’ve done all the initial setup for you! If you’d like us to set up your review sources and send you your personal link, please get in touch.

2. Enhancing Sentiment Scores with More Context

To improve the accuracy of our sentiment scoring, we’ve added more context to the system. For example, the term “lag” might be mildly negative in general conversation, but for a mobile app, it can be a significant issue. Now, when using review sources like the App Store, Yelp, or Amazon product listings, you’ll receive more specific sentiment scores that reflect the context accurately.

Behind-the-Scenes Improvements

We’ve also implemented a range of behind-the-scenes enhancements, including improvements to our data collection processes and other system optimizations that you might not notice but that significantly enhance the overall performance and reliability of our service.

If you have any suggestions or features you’d like to see added, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it happen for you.
